National Mail Order Association (NMOA) Launches New
Small Business Group in California.
MINNEAPOLIS, March 8, 2011 - In an expanding effort to inform
and educate small businesses and entrepreneurs in the art and
science of making money using direct marketing and internet selling
tactics --- A new small business group has been formed in
California by the National Mail Order Association. Ruben S.
Gonzalez of Dot Fulfillment Services has
been appointed director for the group in the Orange County
area.
This new group will enable small businesses and entrepreneurs to
institute best practices in mail order and online marketing.
"To be successful in today's world, the small business owner and
entrepreneur must become knowledgeable in the entire process of
mail order selling and with the wide variety of direct marketing
mediums, disciplines, and tactics available," said John Schulte,
president of the NMOA. "They must mingle with people that know the
direct marketing and mail order business well."
The new California group plans on holding networking events, but
more importantly the focus will be on sharing practical instruction
in the art and science of making money and business building using
Internet and direct marketing tactics.
This instruction will focus on selling on the Internet, using
mail order catalogs and direct mail, selling on TV, and using
direct response advertisements in magazines and newspapers. Other
vital topics will cover the back end processes like order taking
and payment processing, and the final picking/packing and shipping
(fulfillment) of the purchase.
"There is no cost to join the new group," says Schulte. "We are
using the Social Media tool Facebook to attract and organize the
group members. Online is a perfect tool for reaching out and
finding common interests with others."
NMOA's main headquarters will provide news and resources to all
members of this new group, including access to the extensive online
knowledge base of direct marketing related information.
Local outings and training events will be managed by
Ruben Gonzalez and his team from Dot
Fulfillment. Their company plays a key role in the online
and direct marketing business world and has a history of promoting
education in direct marketing; they are also widely connected in
the California direct marketing arena.
