The Dot Fulfillment launched its newest technology offering, Ordering Store. The platform has
been in development for over 9 months and in review with live
customers for 4 months proving the concept and building the feature
offerings. The new Ordering Store allows The Dot Fulfillment's
customers to set-up a new web store with full functionality in
under 60 minutes. The application includes custom reporting, credit
card processing, budgets and approval systems. All package levels
come with a complete administrator dashboard for quick updates. It
can be used for B2C and B2B applications.
One of the features that allows the Store to launch quickly is an
open architecture that allows a customer to fully control all
aspects of the site. This covers basic features like item
management and web pages all the way down to CSS development and
SEO management. The site also has an open API and widgets to allow
it to be linked to customer ERP systems. One of the first widgets
created was an app that allows customers with Sage's MAS90, MAS200
or MAS500 the ability to link the live data in the ERP to the site.
Customers on these systems can allow their own systems control what
is available on the site and feed inventory and order data from and
to the application. Future widgets will integrate the platform to
quickbooks and other common business applications.
The site also features multiple languages. One of the first sites
to go live was a Spanish book store, Hombre Nuevo.
